Amidst Switzerland's majestic mountain landscape and vast lakes, there is a unique, hidden place where brilliance reaches the pinnacle of beauty. During the day, the bright sun illuminates the mountain, while its rays are reflected off the surface of the lake, onto the Alpine mountain ranges, capturing the sun's energy. 

When the sun goes down, the Swiss peaks are plunged into darkness and a calmness covers the landscape. The renewed energy of the sun captured during the day continues to permeate the mineral core and dissipate allowing the vines to thrive during the night. 

Inspired by this nocturnal phenomenon, La Prairie scientists sought to capture its essence. The night is a moment of restoration and reconstruction for the skin. The nocturnal regeneration process requires high amounts of energy to function optimally. But the epidermis, which has lost its vitality, cannot provide this energy.

Thus, La Prairie has designed a composition that provides powerful nutrients, offering energy to the skin. The use of nutrients by the skin is enhanced thanks to the unique properties of La Prairie's exclusive Pure Gold Diffusion System. The energy replenishes the skin as it diffuses during the night.

The Pure Gold Diffusion System releases a three-peak action sequence into the skin. First, gold is directly deposited on the surface of the skin to provide an immediate glow. Next comes an intense blend of replenishing ingredients. Finally, the sequence is completed by a steady release of replenishing ingredients, which bind to gold particles deposited on the skin's surface.

Every night, the skin is strengthened and replenished. In the morning, a new glow is created on the skin and thanks to the night it becomes endless. 

How it is used

Inspired by ancient practices, the nightly ritual of the Pure Gold collection begins with a signature movement, using the Night Massage Stone.

As a massage base, after cleansing and toning lotion, apply Pure Gold Radiance Concentrate or a similar product and after the massage is complete a small amount of Pure Gold Radiance Nocturnal Balm. 

Start the massage with circular movements:

After the signature movement, apply Pure Gold Radiance Eye Cream. Finally, complete the ritual with the application of Pure Gold Radiance Nocturnal Balm. Using the accompanying golden spatula, continue the ritual by taking a small amount and running it between the fingertips. Start with the area between the eyebrows, move towards the forehead and continue towards the temples. Move from the cheekbones to the top of the nose, down to the jawline and chin. Finish by running one hand around the lip area. Repeat all movements until the product is completely absorbed.

Wishing to reduce beauty to grace, La Prairie has designed the Pure Gold Collection as a replenishment collection. Each creation comes with its own metal case and lid with a shiny gold ring to preserve it forever. Each container has an element of surprise, providing enjoyment during use. When the package is empty, the glass insert vial is removed and can be recycled.

1. Remove the cap.

2. Press down on the elegant gold ring, turn counterclockwise and remove the vial.

3. Remove the empty glass vial and replace with the new vial, turning it slowly until it snaps into place.

4. Replace the ring and turn clockwise until it clicks.
